Where to Buy Bulk Dried Flowers in Ontario

Where to Buy Bulk Dried Flowers in Ontario

If you're searching for bulk dried flowers in Ontario, you’re not alone. Whether it’s for a DIY wedding, crafting project, or small business, the demand for dried flowers has taken off in the past few years — and I totally get why. They’re long-lasting, versatile, and beautiful in every season.

But when I started looking for dried flowers myself, I quickly realized that quality and sourcing really matter. Not all dried flowers are grown the same way — or even grown in Canada at all. That’s one of the big reasons I decided to start growing and drying my own here on my farm in Port Perry, Ontario.

In this post, I’ll share some great places to find bulk dried flowers in Ontario (including my own farm, of course), and what to keep in mind when you’re buying.

Why buy Ontario-grown dried flowers?

There are a few reasons I always recommend starting local when shopping for dried florals:

  • Better quality control – Less handling and fewer shipping miles means fewer crushed petals.

  • Naturally dried options – Many Ontario flower farms (mine included) don’t bleach or dye their flowers.

  • Supporting small-scale growers – When you buy from a local farm, you’re investing in someone’s land, work, and passion.

  • Seasonal and unique varieties – Some of the most beautiful blooms — like strawflower, statice, or gomphrena — are hard to find in stores but grow beautifully here in Ontario.

Ontario farms and sellers offering bulk dried flowers

There are some fantastic Ontario-based options for dried flowers, depending on what you’re looking for and how hands-on you want to be.

Harvest Hill Flower Farm (that’s me!)

I grow and air-dry flowers naturally on my small farm in Port Perry, using no dyes or preservatives. I offer bunches and custom mixes for:

  • DIY brides and florists

  • Wreath makers and crafters

  • People who want something beautiful and natural to work with

You can explore dried flowers or custom wedding options at harvesthillflowers.com.

Dewhurst Flower Farm (Alliston, ON)

Dewhurst grows a wide range of cut flowers and offers dried bunches when in season. Their dried selection varies by year, but you can often find classics like ammobium, yarrow, and lavender. Great for bouquet makers and flower fans alike.

Euclid Farms (Toronto, ON)

If you’re looking for dried flowers in the city, Euclid Farms has a beautifully curated shop in downtown Toronto. They grow their own flowers in the west end and also carry unique dried stems and dyed options for a more modern aesthetic.

Old Barn Flower Farm (Niagara region)

They’re known for their stunning fresh flowers, but Old Barn also offers seasonal dried florals and handmade wreaths. A good option if you're in southwestern Ontario or looking to support farm-based shops in the Niagara region.

Shamrock Farm (Combermere, ON)

Shamrock Farm grows and dries herbs and flowers in the Ottawa Valley, and they offer seasonal dried products both locally and online. A great spot for dried florals with a bit of a wild and rustic vibe.

What about Etsy or Amazon?

Etsy Canada

There are some beautiful options on Etsy, and a few sellers are Ontario-based. Just be sure to check the “Ships from” section — many items that look Canadian actually ship from the U.S. or Europe. That means longer delivery times and less control over how the flowers were dried.

Amazon

Amazon offers dried flowers in bulk, but the quality is hit or miss. A lot of their products are imported, bleached, or heavily dyed. It’s an option in a pinch, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anything like a wedding or art piece where you want a natural look.

A few tips before you buy dried flowers in bulk

  • Ask how they were dried. Air-dried flowers have a more natural shape and texture. Silica-dried or oven-dried blooms may look crisper but can be more fragile.

  • Check if they’re dyed. If the colour looks too bright to be real, it probably is.

  • Order early. If you’re planning a wedding or seasonal project, many Ontario farms sell out fast — especially in late summer and fall.

  • Mix and match. Combining textures like strawflower, grasses, and eucalyptus can give you a really beautiful, layered look.

Looking for naturally dried flowers in Ontario?

I’d love to help. I offer dried bunches and wedding-ready blooms for pickup in Port Perry or shipping across Canada. Everything I grow is dried the old-fashioned way — no bleach, no dyes, no shortcuts. Just real flowers, grown and dried with care.

Thanks for supporting Ontario-grown flowers — and the farmers who grow them.
