Wedding Order Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing our naturally grown dried flowers for your special day. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. We've tried to keep them simple and easy to understand while covering the important details.

Our Flowers

Our dried flowers are grown with care in our gardens and foraged around our farm whenever possible. We never use chemical dyes or artificially colour our flowers.

In the rare event that we experience unexpectedly low stock, we may source flowers from a trusted local florist or grower to complete your order. This only happens in emergency situations, and we always strive to maintain the same natural look and quality you expect from Harvest Hill Flower Farm.

Natural Variation & Flower Substitutions

Every arrangement is handmade using natural materials. This means no two pieces will ever be identical.

The flowers you receive may vary slightly from the product photos in:

  • Flower size
  • Colour and tone
  • Shape
  • Placement and overall appearance

These natural variations are part of the beauty of working with real flowers.

If certain flowers become unavailable, we may substitute similar varieties while maintaining the overall style, colour palette, and design of your order.

Custom Orders

We love creating custom wedding flowers! Each arrangement is designed using the flowers we have available in our current inventory. As all of our flowers are naturally grown and dried on our Ontario farm, availability varies throughout the season, and some flower varieties or colours may not always be available. While we'll do our best to bring your vision to life, slight variations in flower varieties, colours, and textures are part of creating a one of a kind, handcrafted bouquet. If you have specific flowers or colours in mind, please let us know when you inquire so we can discuss the best options for your wedding.

Custom orders include up to three photo sample revisions per item. Additional revisions or significant design changes may require an additional design fee.

Order Timeline

Since every order is handmade, preparation times vary depending on the season, flower availability, and current demand. Orders may take anywhere from a few days to several weeks to complete. Your estimated completion timeline will be clearly communicated when your order is confirmed.

Shipping

We currently ship through Canada Post. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email.

While we always do our best to have your order ready in time for your preferred delivery date, shipping delays are outside of our control. For wedding orders, we strongly recommend ordering well in advance of your event date.

Harvest Hill Flower Farm is not responsible for delays, lost packages, or damage caused by the shipping carrier once your order has been shipped.

Local Farm Pickup

Local pickup is available for wedding orders by appointment only at our private property in Blackstock, Ontario. Once your order is ready, we will contact you to arrange a pickup date and time.

Farm Property

If you visit our farm for pickup, you do so at your own risk. Our property is a working farm with uneven ground, insects, wildlife, farm animals, plants, and other natural hazards. By entering the property, you accept responsibility for your own safety and assume all risks associated with your visit, including (but not limited to) insect bites, animal interactions, allergic reactions, slips, trips, and falls.

Payment

We currently accept e-transfer only. After you complete checkout, you'll receive an email with your invoice and e-transfer payment instructions.

Orders are not considered confirmed until payment has been received.

Returns & Refunds

Because our flowers are made to order, often customized, and made from natural products, we do not accept returns or exchanges.

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We genuinely want you to love your flowers and will happily work with you to find a fair solution whenever possible.

Product Care

Dried flowers are delicate by nature.

Please expect some minor shedding during shipping, handling, and normal use. This is completely normal and does not affect the overall quality or beauty of your flowers.

To help your flowers last:

  • Keep indoors
  • Do not place in water
  • Keep away from direct sunlight to reduce fading
  • Handle gently

With proper care, dried flowers can be enjoyed for many months or even years.

Limitation of Liability

Harvest Hill Flower Farm is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, storage, weather exposure, moisture, or normal aging of dried flowers after they have been delivered or picked up.
