Bridal Bouquet Preservation in Durham Region

At Harvest Hill Flower Farm, I specialize in working with dried flowers. Every year I grow, harvest and naturally air-dry hundreds of flowers for my dried wedding work.

I now offer bridal bouquet preservation in three-dimensional shadow boxes and meadow boxes, giving your wedding flowers a new life after the big day. Rather than pressing your flowers flat, I naturally air-dry them and arrange them inside a shadow box or a small, three-dimensional meadow box, with different heights, textures and negative space. The result is a more natural, garden-inspired keepsake that lets you continue to see and enjoy the flowers from your wedding day.

How it Works

1. Drop Off Your Bouquet

Bring your fresh wedding bouquet to Harvest Hill Flower Farm in Blackstock, Ontario as soon as possible after your wedding, ideally within a day or two. The sooner I receive your flowers, the better chance I have of preserving them well.

2. I Air-Dry Your Flowers

I'll carefully prepare your flowers and naturally air-dry them here on the farm. Most flowers take approximately 2–3 weeks to fully dry. I use natural air-drying rather than pressing, with no dyes or chemical preservatives.

3. I Create Your Meadow Box

Once your flowers are dry, I'll select the best-preserved pieces and arrange them into your chosen 3D meadow or shadow box. I'll work with the natural shapes, colours, textures and height of your flowers to create a unique keepsake.

Please allow approximately 6 weeks total from drop-off to finished pickup. Farm drop-off and pickup only: Because your bouquet needs to be received fresh and your finished piece is custom-made, I don't currently accept bouquets by mail or ship finished preservation pieces.

About Harvest Hill Flower Farm

Harvest Hill Flower Farm is a small family-run flower farm nestled in Blackstock, Ontario. We grow our flowers from seed, following the natural rhythm of the seasons and letting each variety bloom in its own time.

A lot of care goes into every flower, from hand-weeding and watering in the garden to harvesting at the right moment and hanging each bunch in our barn to dry. We grow without chemicals and use simple, natural methods throughout the season.

What starts in our fields eventually becomes a dried flower bunch, ready to bring a little piece of the farm into your home.

Meet Sarah

Hi, I’m Sarah — wife, mother, and flower farmer living a simple, slow-paced life on our little homestead in Ontario.

Harvest Hill grew from my love of growing things and spending time outside. I grow beautiful, chemical-free flowers from seed, then harvest and naturally dry them in our barn as the seasons unfold.
