About Harvest Hill Flower Farm

Harvest Hill Flower Farm is a small family-run flower farm nestled in Blackstock, Ontario. We grow our flowers from seed, following the natural rhythm of the seasons and letting each variety bloom in its own time.

A lot of care goes into every flower, from hand-weeding and watering in the garden to harvesting at the right moment and hanging each bunch in our barn to dry. We grow without chemicals and use simple, natural methods throughout the season.

What starts in our fields eventually becomes a dried flower bunch, ready to bring a little piece of the farm into your home.

Where are your dried flowers grown?

Our flowers are grown right here on our small flower farm in Blackstock, Ontario. We grow them from seed and harvest them throughout the season before bringing them into the barn to dry.

How are your flowers dried?

We naturally air dry our flowers in our barn. We harvest each variety when it's ready and hang the flowers to dry slowly, without artificial preservatives or dyes.

What comes in a dried flower bunch?

Each bunch contains one type of flower, making it easy to use on its own or mix with other varieties. The number of stems can vary depending on the flower, so you'll find the details for each bunch on its product page. Stem lengths are a minimum of 12 inches long, and we do our best to select the best and longest dried blooms for your order.

Can I mix different bunches together?

Absolutely. Mixing different flowers is one of our favourite ways to use dried flowers. Try combining different shapes, textures and colours to create your own arrangement.

How long do dried flowers last?

With proper care, dried flowers can last for months or even years. Keeping them out of direct sunlight and away from humidity and water will help preserve their colour and shape.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes. Local pickup is available by appointment from our farm in Blackstock, Ontario.

Do you ship dried flowers?

Yes! We ship our dried flower bunches across Canada using Canada Post. Each order is carefully packed by hand to help your flowers arrive safely.

How are dried flowers packaged for shipping?

Each order is securely packaged to prevent breakage and shifting during transport. We use protective wrapping and box them carefully so the flowers arrive in good condition and ready for arranging. Some minor shedding is expected.

Do you offer dried flowers for weddings?

Yes! You can purchase our dried flower bunches if you're creating your own wedding flowers. If you'd rather have your flowers designed and arranged for you, you can learn more about our dried wedding flowers.

Do you sell dried flowers year-round?

Our dried flowers are available throughout the year, but the selection changes with the seasons and what we’re able to grow and harvest each year. Some varieties are available for much of the year, while others are limited and may sell out before the next growing season.

Can I order a larger quantity?

Absolutely. If you're looking for a larger amount of a particular flower for an event, project or business, get in touch and we can let you know what's available.
